There is no greater gift than a child. The greatest responsibility that we as parents are given is the raising of children. God chose Mary and Joseph to raise Jesus as part of their family, just as our children are chosen to be part of ours. There is no greater satisfaction than in raising and teaching our children the principles and values that they will, in turn, pass onto theirs. This perpetuating, divine design is as perfect as the child that is born into it.
